WikiData is a structured warehouse of data and media that underlies many parts of the Wikipedia ecosystem. You can make it better, one photo at a time.

A specialized tool called WikiShootMe can identify places in your location (or any others) lacking images in the database (these are shown as red dots in the map). For this make, look at the region around Kenyon College or anywhere else you choose. Try to find a red dot of a location that you can upload an original photo to document it. It may require you to create a WikiMedia account.

Now imagine using this as a course project to research a part of the world, and what might happen if many people turned red dots green.

(The example for this make was one I contributed using the map of the place I lived previously in Arizona)
